About Steve Taylor
Steve Taylor
CTO
Steve Taylor is a visionary pioneer in service-based architecture, open-source security, Kubernetes, DevOps process improvement, software build and release, and the software supply chain. Long before “continuous integration” became a buzzword, Steve was designing cutting-edge continuous delivery pipelines for Fortune 1000 companies, redefining how software is built and deployed.
As the creator of OpenMake Meister, a build automation solution trusted for over 20 years, and the architect behind DeployHub, the industry’s first continuous vulnerability Management platform, Steve has consistently been ahead of the curve. His innovative work extends to the Ortelius project under the Continuous Delivery Foundation (CDF), where he serves as a Technology Oversight Committee Board Member and was honored with the 2023 CDF Top Contributor awards.
Before founding DeployHub, Steve was the Chief Architect and CFO of OpenMake Software. He not only ensured the ongoing relevance of Meister for its 400+ enterprise customers but also maintained financial independence for the company, avoiding outside investment. Known for his ability to lead lean, high-performing development teams that outpace larger competitors, Steve continues to drive innovation in the software world.
